Canadian division of Ontario has released a total of 142 notifications in Express Entry Pool for the aspirants who are looking forward for immigration to Canada, which was held on 11th and 12th of April.
For the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programs (OINP) draws were conducted and was aligned with French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW) and Skilled Trades Stream. The draws were conducted only for aspirants who are eligible for FSSW and Skilled Trades Stream. To receive Notification of Interest (NOI), for these draws no minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score is required.
55 immigrants who had sent their Express Entry profile between 1st of Jan, 2018 – 12th of April, 2018 were received a NOI, under the FSSW Stream. And the remaining 87 immigrants who submitted their Express Entry profile between 1st of Jan, 2018 – 11th of April, 2018 were received NOI under the Skilled Trades Stream.
In Ontario, the FSSW Stream was launched in the year 2015 to help the OINP select French-Speaking Skilled workers who also have sufficient English language skills.
Candidates are allowed to apply at a federal Express Entry draw with a successful application to the Ontario Immigrants Nominee Program will get 600 CRS points in additional.
In this year, approximately 791 candidates were issued NOI’s under two streams.
The ONIP is also issuing NOI’s to the candidates on the regular basis through Express Entry-linked Human Capital Stream. The minimum of 400 CRS points are required for the HCP Stream. Nearly 3378 candidates are invited by the OINP from the Express Entry pool.
Candidates are not allowed to apply for Ontario’s Express Entry pool directly; they have to obtain a NOI from the Ontario through their IRCC account first.
Candidates have 45 days of time to submit an online application to the OINP from the date NOI issued to the candidates.
Candidates have to enter Express Entry poll first to pursue any Ontario’s Express Entry-linked streams.
